Gatecrash gameplay: eight racing cars approach a rust-red shortcut gate on a concrete road above the sea Multiplayer

Your boost is also the key. Burn surge on the straight, or spend it to open a sealed shortcut — and give every rival behind you five seconds to follow for free.

Shunt gameplay: a blue brake van on pale ballast in a shunting yard, beside a lit road of rails and sleepers with a clearance gantry running it Arcade

Shunt

You cannot move. You can only trade roads with something else — so stand on the live road on purpose and give your spot away at the last second.

Real multiplayer, instant starts

Competitive outcomes run on an authoritative server rather than trusting the browser. When nobody else is around, clearly labelled AI drivers fill empty slots for games that need a crowd, then give up their seats as real players arrive.

Questions

Short answers

Are the games on Caper Arcade free?
Yes. Every game on Caper Arcade is free to play in full, with no payment, no trial period and nothing locked behind a purchase. There are no in-game purchases and no paid advantages of any kind.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. The games run entirely in your browser — there is nothing to download, no launcher and no plugin. Opening the page is the whole installation, which typically takes a few seconds.
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play every game without signing up, signing in or giving an email address. Pick a name when you join a match and that is the entire setup.
Can I play these games with friends?
Yes. Eight of the twelve games are multiplayer, and each one can create a private room with a five-character code you share. Anyone who enters that code joins your match directly.
Do the games work on a phone?
Yes. Every game runs on a phone or tablet browser with touch controls, as well as on desktop with keyboard and mouse. The same link works on both.
What happens if nobody else is online?
Clearly labelled AI opponents fill the empty seats so a match can start immediately, and they give up their places as real players arrive. You never wait in an empty lobby.
